I was born in Istanbul in 1981. My relationship with art began during childhood years spent in my father’s painting studio. Art was never merely an interest for me; it became a natural part of my life.
I graduated first in my class from Beykent University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design. My education and years of work in charcoal, watercolor and oil painting created the foundation of my artistic language.
Over time, the unique forms, colors and textures of seashells moved to the center of my practice. I combine nature’s inherent aesthetic with contemporary design to create singular compositions.
By carrying traces of the sea into living spaces, I aim to make visible the elegance of nature, women’s creative power and the transformative effect of creativity.
